Hello. My name is Dave Marr. I am a professional pianist based in St Helens with over 30 years of experience performing at weddings, corporate functions, birthday celebrations, and private events. I specialise in providing elegant, tasteful background music that creates a warm and relaxed atmosphere for you and your guests to enjoy.

I genuinely love playing at weddings and fully understand how important (and sometimes stressful) the planning process can be. I always go the extra mile to ensure that the musical side of your day is as smooth and stress free as possible.

Whenever I can, I visit the venue beforehand to see exactly where I’ll be performing, have a chat with the staff, and get a feel for the place. I also encourage you and your partner to meet with me if you're local, so we can get to know each other and discuss music choices.

You're very welcome to contact me as much as you like in the lead up to the big day.

On the day itself, I always arrive at least two hours early to allow time for setup and any unforeseen delays.

I have a beautiful piano that both looks and sounds fantastic, with a stylish wooden shell that gives the impression of a baby grand. It’s versatile, with fully adjustable volume to suit the mood and space. Of course, if your venue has a piano you'd prefer me to use, I’m more than happy to play that instead.
